There is No "Obsolete" Man

Freedom to think and be yourself is the ultimate freedom

Hello my friends,

Believe it or not, there was a time in Hollywood when even some writers and directors weren’t entirely anti-American. Rod Serling was one of them, and his program “The Twilight Zone” often spoke of free expression, self-determination, tolerance, and many other freedom oriented themes through the lens of science fiction.

One of his most popular episodes was “The Obsolete Man” in which an authoritarian society demes a lowly librarian to death because his role in the world is now considered obsolete.

We live in a period now where free speech is under attack, our borders are being erased, and it seems that everyday, men and women of faith and holders of the principles of freedom are slowly being pushed out of the public space for being “obsolete.”

If I may, I’d like to ask that you take a stand for what you believe in by sharing an episode of The World According to Ben Stein with a friend, because we are trying to practice what we preach every week. We talk about controversial topics you won’t hear about elsewhere, we bring on guests who we don’t always agree with, but we dive into these subjects bravely and with respect for each other’s views.

You are the change you want to see in the world. No one who stands for peace, love, and individual freedom is ever obsolete.
