US Citizen GUILTY for Conspiring With North Koreans
A betrayal that cuts deep.

We should wake up everyday and THANK GOD we are alive and living in the United States of America. Regardless of race, religion, sex, or whatever, we have won the cosmic lottery.
That is why when we see someone who has inherited this great blessing and then decided to betray it all, it feels more disgusting than an average betrayal.
From Fox Business:
A U.S. citizen has pleaded guilty to conspiring to provide cryptocurrency services to North Korea, the Department of Justice announced this week.
Virgil Griffith, 38, pleaded guilty to conspiring to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) by providing services to North Korea, including technical advice about using cryptocurrency and blockchain technology to evade sanctions, the U.S. Attorney’s Office Southern District of New York said in an announcement.
"Pursuant to the IEEPA and Executive Order 13466, United States Persons are prohibited from exporting any goods, services, or technology to the DPRK [North Korea] without a license from the Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)," according to the DOJ.
Griffith was a research scientist at the Ethereum Foundation and has a doctorate from California Institute of Technology in Computation and Neural Systems, according to his LinkedIn profile.
