I do have a financial question, but it revolves around Putin, the Russian ruble and his pegging it to the gold standard… How is this going to impact the United States, the price of gold, the price of oil, etc.? Is there any chance that the Russian ruble will become the world’s reserve currency?
Also, is there any chance at all we will ever return to the gold standard here in the United States?
One of my college aged son said, “To get us put back on the gold standard we would probably have to hang 80% of our Congress, and hogtie the rest. Let alone the federal reserve…” 💩🙄
