No. Stay and fight to make change and make your cities better. Never surrender your property and goods! Defend your families and your neighbors by fighting in elections to defeat your unqualified and unruly elected leaders, if you don’t we will sendup in a civil war against then. God Bless America!

We tried waiting and fighting. Nothing changes here. Well it does but only for the worse. Too corrupt and bought to make any positive change in nyc. We have a worse mayor than we did for the last 8 years. The electoral process is fraudulent and messed up. Can't do it anymore. 9/11 changed nyc for me. It's a million times worse now than what at the time I thought 9/11 did to us. It's really very sad 😔

There is absolutely no upside to living in a big city, especially if you have a family. Even in red cities, you see drugs, crime, poor public education, etc. If you need to do big city stuff, go and come home immediately after. Sad to say, but you might want to bring protection!

I was born in Los Angeles. We now live in a city of 700 with acre lot sizes. There is no possible way I would leave my current lifestyle and move back to LA or anywhere in Calif right now. When Calif residents wise up and change their disastrously oppressive political system and crooks start realizing crime does not pay, I’ll talk with my family and accountant about moving back.

Complex systems are failing globally. Whether by design or attrition makes no difference. When the cities can no longer resupply food, water, fuel and medicines there will be a mass Exodus.

We already have. In my home city the NAACP bought houses in white neighborhoods to re-settle blacks & it destroyed old immigrant neighborhoods. Today these areas are largely high crime ghettos. People voted with their feet.

We will be soon. Nyc to South FL. Will be sad to go because this is my city that I have lived in since birth. I love nyc. It's just not the same anymore. Doing it for a better/ more normal life for my children. Better schools and neighborhoods.

We left the Chicago area and moved to FL to escape the violence.

I'm not a city person, but I do understand it's appeal. I also know that many people can be categorized into two broad groups, those who go along to get along and those who fight for what's right. And in both of those groups, are people who do and don't understand when it's time to change their situation.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but if you fit into the Venn diagram of someone who likes city life, but isn't willing to fight for it, to take it back from the lunatics spreading their plague of violence and filth, then yes leave.

There are other sections of that diagram, for each of you. Choose accordingly, but choose with the conviction necessary to preserve your God given right to liberty.
